I can think of so many ways to use Wikis in the library! I really think this is the way to go with our library pathfinders. I really liked the examples that I saw. I also think that we could save a lot of unproductive committee meeting time by using wikis.
I agree with you that Wikis can save a lot of time and they are great tools for fostering collaboration. I've used them for student group projects where each member of the group is assigned a job and they can all input their information into the Wiki to create one cooperative project.
ReplyDeleteI do like the idea of wikis for pathfinders. Wikis are so easy to use and will make updating pathfinders simple. It would also be great for each department or grade level to have a wiki where librarians can add suggestions and comments for specific upcoming projects and assignments.Thanks for the post.
